Marquees proved to be an invaluable solution during the challenging COVID pandemic, offering schools a practical and adaptable way to meet government requirements. Highgate School is a great example, where one of our marquees provided essential shelter for students during break times throughout the winter months. The structure offered excellent protection from wind and rain on harsh days, while the window walls could be easily rolled up in warmer weather to allow fresh air and proper ventilation — a key consideration during the pandemic.
Marquees are a smart solution
To ensure complete safety and stability, the marquee was securely bolted to the paving. In other situations, particularly on hard surfaces where bolting is not possible, we use water ballast to anchor the structure effectively. Our marquees also come with different leg heights, enabling us to overcome obstacles such as uneven ground levels, flower beds and other garden features with ease.
