Yes, you’re welcome to bring in your own caterers. We can also provide a catering marquee and tables if needed. Just be sure to check their power requirements, as even small appliances like tea urns or plate warmers can trip a fuse if too many are plugged into the same supply.

We’re here to help assess your requirements. Once we know the total power output, we can determine if your house sockets will be sufficient, if we need to tap directly into your mains, or, for larger demands, bring in a generator to ensure everything runs smoothly.

In summer, we recommend adding window walls to your marquee, as they can be opened for instant ventilation. On humid, windless days, fans may be necessary, or we can arrange air conditioning for extra comfort.

It's also a good idea to monitor evening temperatures, even in the height of summer. If temperatures drop below 15°C, guests may start leaving if it becomes too chilly inside the marquee.

In cooler weather, heating is a must. We offer indirect heaters that stay outside the marquee and pump warm air in, keeping your guests comfortable.

As a rule of thumb, a toilet inside your house or office is usually sufficient for up to 50 guests. For larger events, single portable toilets, which are 1.22m square, can be placed in a front garden or driveway. If you're looking for something more upscale, luxury toilet trailers are available, starting at 4.8m long by 2.4m wide.

As the hirer, you are responsible for any loss of, or damage to, the marquee. However, if the marquee location is secure and someone is on-site throughout the hire period, the risk of damage or theft is very low and most of our private clients do not take out insurance.

Alternatively, you can opt for our damage waiver, which is 5% of the hire cost. This reduces your liability to a smaller contribution in the event of a claim.

For events in public spaces, we require organisers to obtain insurance for our equipment and ensure 24-hour security is in place.

We will do our best to reschedule your booking and minimize any charges if changes are needed.

• If you cancel 8 weeks before your event, only your deposit will be forfeited.
• For cancellations made 4-8 weeks prior, an additional 25% of the booked equipment will be charged.
• If you cancel within 4 weeks of the event, the full booking amount is due.
